The Lend A Clean Program

 

What is the “Lend A Clean” Program? You may have heard that our company gives away free cleanings, but there must be a catch, right? Wrong! This program was designed for one purpose only: to give back to our community through individual acts of love. The purpose of the Lend A Clean is to provide free cleanings to those in need, whether that someone is disabled, elderly and unable to clean, or just in need of some help. Each recipient of the free cleaning will be nominated either by individuals in the community, customers, or our staff. Check out this video to see our heart behind this mission: 

But how does it work? Sterling Shine is not a non-profit organization, but we still rely on the charitable donations of people in the community, our staff and our customers to be able to fund and provide free cleanings. The hope in creating this program is that it would draw the community together in an attempt to better the lives of others.

So how are recipients chosen? Each “Lend A Clean” will be carefully considered and put to a vote based on the greatest need. However, any person who donates is able to nominate someone to receive the cleaning. If the cleaning is fully paid for by the donor, then their person of choice will receive the cleaning with no need for a vote. When it comes to monthly contributions or small one-time contributions, the funds will be used to provide a free cleaning to a person or family of Sterling Shine’s choice based on votes and/or the greatest need.
